Biter Hotel

A good cheap breakfast, free tea, coffee and water all the time. It has a bus stop nearby and a metro station in 15-minutes walk. In a 10-minute walk there is also the Aqueduct of Valens - an ancient an beautiful place to visit. The room is comfortable and its cleaned up every day. The conditioner works good. The hotel has a nice terrace with beautiful view on the Golden Horn. The personnel is hospitable and friendly, always will help you. They have a payment terminal available so you can always pay up with your credit card.

I personally enjoyed the breakfast a lot. I didn't mind a fixed set of options because there was still plenty to eat from. The location is excellent in my opinion. You can walk to a ton of major destinations, as well as local shops, and the buses and trains are easily accessible. The rooftop view is a sight to behold. Last but not least, the staff were all extremely warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. I want to personally thank Şükrü for all his support and accommodation.

This is a very good hotel! Me and my brother stayed there for 7 days. It's located in Fatih close to the main attractions of Istanbul. Especially if its your first time in Istanbul, this is perfect for you. We walked mostly. You can easily get Sultanahmet, Balat, Eminönü. We even walked to Karaköy. But if you want you can take a bus, there is a bus stop literally 3 mins away from the hotel ! The rooms are like on the pictures! They are cleaned every day! It has everything for comfortable staying for this price! There is a stunning 😍 view from the terrace! We were there every day! And the best part are people that work there! The nicest, kindest, politest and super helpful! It was our first time in Istanbul and they always tried to help us and they did even more ! Also they offer drinks for free during the whole day. I would write even more about this hotel but it's already a big review ahaha 😅  So I highly recommend Biter Hotel! And I wish good luck to the owner and workers! You're doing a good job 👏

Location in Fatih makes all major historical attractions within a walking distance (up to 3km) but location itself is not touristic, except direct neighbourhood of major attractions. If you like to walk a bit and blend with real local life it is something for you! Neighbourhood is rather poor and not well maintained, but it's safe and you can find really friendly people and excellent places to eat, shopping groceries in really "local way" and very good price. There is a bus stop just downstairs and ferries piers in walking distance (1km) so, traveling to other Asian districts is easy and cheap. Hotel staff is very helpful! Rooms are rather simple but quite clean, beds are good as well (we use hotel to sleep and have some rest, so did not need more). There is a nice terrace on the roof with great view on golden horn, Galata, and full city landscape. There is an airco in the rooms and small elevator at the staircase. You can buy cold water and drinks at the reception desk for very reasonable price. My rating of this property is in relation to my expectations mentioned above - so, if you expect glamour rooms, SPA, clubs, disco's, posh district, night life etc - find something else in Kadikoy.

We mostly used the accommodation for sleeping, but we really liked almost everything: the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was small but cosy and the terrace on the rooftop was a plus - the view was terrific from there! The food for breakfast was very varied. We could buy water at the reception for a good price which was a comfortable option.
